Message from the Chair of Council - Susan Fowler

Welcome to this week's edition of Virtual Voices, the e-newsletter for Mount Royal United Church in Moncton, NB. I hope this finds you well.

This week Esther Mah joins me to give the weekly announcements. We put in a last, shameless plug for the Talent Show scheduled for live stream at 7PM on Sat. June 13th. It is going to be a lot of fun with a variety of acts and ages. Thanks to Debbie Maund for pulling this together; to the performers for their talents and to the technical people, Bill Millett and Stephen Townsend who will make it happen for us. If you cannot watch at 7PM Saturday, you can see it later on the church website www.mountroyaluc.ca

We also want to remind you that our Sunday services are now live streamed from the sanctuary at 9:30 and these can also be watched later on the church website. The Prelude will begin at 9:15 and you can see the announcement slides before the service begins with Rev Stuart.

This Sunday we celebrate graduates and will show you the per-recorded presentation of the Baker Family Scholarships to two very deserving Mount Royal graduates.

This week, we heard a really good news story about a young woman in our church family so we feature an interview with her talking about receiving a national recognition award. Be sure to watch that interview.
