The mandate of this committee is to provide pastoral care for the ongoing needs of the people in the congregation. Members of the Committee visit shut-ins and other people associated with Mount Royal who are in the hospital or living in nursing or special care homes. These visits do not replace contact by the Minister but rather provide additional contact on behalf of the congregation. All members are asked to respect the confidentiality of health or other concerns raised or noted during visits. Information will only be shared with the Minister, if requested.
