Virtual Voices

The Video E-Newsletter
of Mount Royal United Church
for Friday Sept 11th 2020

Welcome to our fourteenth edition of the Mount Royal United Church Video E-Newsletter. You will find the video at the bottom of this message.

If you have any news items or information you think we should be including in an upcoming e-newsletter, please send your suggestion to newsletters@mountroyaluc.ca we will do our very best to put it on for you.

A quick reminder that our Sunday services are now live streamed from the sanctuary at 9:30 and these can also be watched later on the church website. The Prelude will begin at 9:15 with music and the announcement slides before the service begins with Rev. Stuart.

The weekly bulletin will be available here.

This video will be produced and sent out weekly on Friday morning with all the important things from our faith community. We plan to keep them short so you have time to drink a cup of tea or coffee while you watch.

We hope you have a very good day today.
Best Regards,
Newsletter Committee

Message from the Chair of Council - Susan Fowler

Hello Mount Royal Friends.

Welcome to the Sept 11th version of Virtual Voices. Its the second week back after the August holiday period and we are getting back in the groove. It still feels like summer most days so we should enjoy the nice weather while we are able. Last September we endured the wrath of Hurricane Dorian. Let's be thankful we haven't as yet seen a repeat and remember all those people living along coasts everywhere that are hit by these annual storms.

This week we are going to talk a bit about some survey results, provide you with particulars for Rev Stuart's upcoming bible study and share this week's celebrations. I hope you find this electronic newsletter helps you feel connected. We have been apart for a very long time.

I am watching NB's Covid -19 updates regularly as I am sure each of you are doing. Meanwhile around the world and across the country case numbers are on the rise in many places. Let's all continue to be vigilant with the minimal contacts, hand washing and mask wearing.

I have been away but am home and in isolation for 14 days. I will see you all in a few weeks.

Be well,

Susan Fowler

If you have scrolled all the way down here to the bottom, we thought you would enjoy something uplifting.
