A quick reminder that Starting Sunday September 27th, our Sunday services our live streamed from the sanctuary will begin at 10:30am and these can also be watched later on the church website. The Prelude will begin at 10:15 with music and the announcement slides before the service begins with Rev. Stuart. This video will be produced and sent out weekly on Friday morning with all the important things from our faith community. We plan to keep them short so you have time to drink a cup of tea or coffee while you watch. We hope you have a very good day today. Best Regards, Newsletter Committee Message from the Chair of Council - Susan Fowler Hi Everyone. Welcome to the September 25th edition of Virtual Voices. Right off I want to say a warm welcome to Cathy Elderkin who has joined the newsletter team. Her enthusiasm is well known to the Mount Royal Family. Adding her to the rotation of announcers on Virtual Voices will give a break to the other announcers on Virtual Voices - Esther, Kim, Debbie and me. Cathy and Esther made a dynamic duo recording this week. Thanks to them for bringing you this week's announcements and to Bill Millett for putting it all together. There's a humorous plug for tech team volunteers at the end of this edition. Even if you are like me and know nothing about technology, be sure to watch it. I guarantee it will bring a smile to your face. Thanks to Bill and Stephen Townsend for it. A few really important announcements this week are: - Sunday Worship is back in the 10:30 AM slot beginning September 27th; - Oct 4th is World Communion Sunday so have your elements ready before the service begins; - The grocery gift card sale is underway, and - Watch for changes to the date and meeting forum for bible study. There is still time to register. On Saturday at 2 PM, volunteers who have offered to assist with ensuring we provide a safe environment for worshippers, staff and volunteers during in person attendance for Sunday worship will gather at the church for some training. If you would like to help out, please contact me. And finally, be sure to watch this week's edition for an overview of what in person attendance in the sanctuary will look like. All the details will be in your Thanksgiving letter and you'll be able to see helpful notes and videos on the church website www.mountroyaluc.ca in the days to come. Be well!
