A quick reminder that our Sunday Service is live streamed from the sanctuary  beginning at 10:30 AM and can also be watched later on the church website. The Prelude will begin at 10:15 AM with music and the announcement slides before the service begins with Rev. Stuart.

The weekly bulletin will be available here.

Message from the Chair of Council - Susan Fowler

Hi. Hope this finds you well.

I expect you have been following the Covid news this week in NB. There will be changes introduced effective next Wednesday which may impact groups meeting for inside gatherings. At this point, however, we are still awaiting additional direction from the government about faith gatherings and will communicate any changes to you.

Meanwhile here are a couple of announcements to highlight some things of interest, particularly to our younger members.

Ukulele Church has started up after a little summer break. It’s for children five and up and includes crafts, songs, bible stories and, of course, playing the ukulele. The best part is no experience is necessary and it’s all done by zoom so young people across the country can join in. Its Sundays from 12:30 to 1:30. For additional information, contact Catherine Stuart at cstuart@united–church.ca

If you would like to see a picture of two of the participants of Ukulele Church, check out the slide announcements for this week's service. Ethan and Kayla got together for a little jam session.

Thanksgiving is coming, and we are interested in knowing for what you feel thankful. Give it some thought, especially our younger folks. We’ll be asking you in the next couple of weeks.

Are you interested in a child friendly way to share and discuss the 94 Calls to Action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission with children? Here is the "Spirit Bear's Guide to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada Calls to Action"

This week Rev Stuart’s message is entitled “Hope, Healing and Wholeness” and will be about the vulnerable and our own vulnerabilities. Please join us, in person or via the livestream with music that begins at 10:15 and the service at 10:30. No preregistration is required at this time.

I am always interested in your comments and suggestions. Please do not hesitate to contact me.

Stay well.
