for Friday December 17th 2021

Welcome to our seventy fourth edition of the Mount Royal United Church Video E-Newsletter. You will find the video at the bottom of this message.

If you have any news items or information you think we should be including in an upcoming e-newsletter, please send your suggestion to newsletters@mountroyaluc.ca we will do our very best to put it on for you.

A quick reminder that our Sunday Service is live streamed from the sanctuary  beginning at 10:30 AM and can also be watched later on the church website. The Prelude will begin at 10:15 AM with music and the announcement slides before the service begins with Rev. Stuart.

The weekly bulletin will be available here.

This video will be produced and sent out weekly on Friday morning with all the important things from our faith community. We plan to keep them short so you have time to drink a cup of tea or coffee while you watch.

We hope you have a very good day today.
Best Regards,
Newsletter Committee

Message from the Chair of Council - Susan Fowler

The next week will be busy with all kinds of last-minute Christmas preparations. Amid all your busyness, I hope you will find some time to enjoy the upcoming worship services:

Dec 18th - 7 PM a brief but meaningful online service recognizing for some the season is a difficult time.
Dec 19th - 4th Sunday in Advent - Love
Dec 24th - 7PM Preregistration is required.

And just a reminder that there will be a recorded Lessons and Carols service on Dec 26th available online only. No in person worship.

I nearly forgot to give you Rev Stuart's trivia question from last week:
"How many days did the Jewish people wait to name and bless a child?" The answer is in Luke 2. Did you find it yet?

With the Omicron variant changing the situation rapidly, please remain current with the GNB requirements which you can find here. There are instructions specific to indoor gatherings and faith venues.
