How was your week? Did you enjoy a well-deserved rest from shovelling? Wasn't it nice to not have to spend 5 minutes cleaning the snow off your car for a 10-minute drive? As much as I was happy to not have to shovel, I know we have winter weather ahead. There are encouraging signs of Spring, but we do live in the Maritimes. And, as tiresome as winter weather can feel this time of year, we are so lucky to not be in the Ukraine, cringing and terrified from the sound of gunfire and bombs exploding nearby. Let's continue to remember the Ukrainian people in our prayers each day and remain hopeful that the Russians will stop invading and killing innocent people. As we continue our Lenten Journey, we invite you to remember the Karing Kitchen at St Johns United Church in downtown Moncton, with donations of Minute Rice, corn starch, margarine and cream of celery or chicken soups in large cans for serving lunch at the church.
