Best Regards, Newsletter Committee Message from the Chair of Council - Susan Fowler With Friday being our usual day to release Virtual Voices, and it being Good Friday, we are sending out one news blast. Be sure to listen for the week's activities at Mount Royal and plan to worship with us during our Good Friday service, April 15 at 6:30 PM. It will be a brief, solemn service marking the sorrow and anguish felt by Jesus' family, friends, and supporters as he was crucified. Joe Avery provides a look into the sentiments of Pontius Pilate in a musical dramatic piece entitled "Pilate's Dream". You may recognize this from the 1970's rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar. Be sure to come back to worship with us for Easter, when Christ is risen, and we are again filled with hope and joyful anticipation. We will be sharing communion so if you are watching on a device, remember to have your elements ready before the service starts. The prelude begins at 10:15 and the service at 10:30 AM. We have had a lot of activities during Lent; study groups, morning meditations and scavenger and photo hunts plus supporting 6 community organizations. Thanks to Rev. Stuart and the Christian Development and Worship Committees for their planning and organization and to everyone who took part or made donations. As we enter the season of Easter the Worship Committee will be inviting you to live out your faith in very real ways.
