Celebrating
our tradition of welcoming the community around us, from Pancake
Breakfasts, Lunch with Friends and Rummage Sales, to Tai-Chi, Craft and
Scouting groups, Mount Royal United added a bit of fun to the parking
lot this weekend.
A
group of dedicated painters braved the hot weather to add with a Four
Square grid, a Mirror Me game, an alphabet hopscotch shaped like a snake
as well as some fun Daisy and Dandelion end caps to a row of parking
spaces, just in case you need a fun background for a summer fun selfie
with your friends.
This
is a first step into looking at how spaces that sit empty when events
and services aren’t happening can give families and children in the area
a place to get out and enjoy some fun and physical activity.
Wander by and check it out yourself!
