UCW 60th anniversary!!

On Thursday, October 20th, Visions United hosted a gathering to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the United Church Women (UCW). A lovely, upbeat afternoon was enjoyed by all in attendance. The theme was “Continuing in Hope.”

Founding UCW members who participated in the special event, were recognized, including our own Shirley Dutcher (seen below bottom right). Shirley joined at Wesley Memorial in Moncton.

Other charter members from Mt Royal who were not in attendance are Ellen Ayer who joined in Digby, NS; Ina Freeman – Wesley United; Shirley Howatt – Humphrey Memorial, Moncton and Betty Hudson who joined at Mt. Royal.
