Welcome to our one-hundredth and forty-first edition of the Mount Royal United Church Video E-Newsletter. You will find the video at the bottom of this message.

If you have any news items or information you think we should be including in an upcoming e-newsletter, please send your suggestion to newsletters@mountroyaluc.ca we will do our very best to put it on for you.

A quick reminder that our Sunday Service is live streamed from the sanctuary beginning at 10:30 AM and can also be watched later on the church website. The Prelude will begin at 10:15 AM with music and the announcement slides before the service begins with Rev. Stuart.

The weekly bulletin will be available here.

This video will be produced and sent out weekly on Friday morning with all the important things from our faith community. We plan to keep them short so you have time to drink a cup of tea or coffee while you watch.

Message from - a member of our Community of Faith, Susan Fowler

This week Jenn Smith joins me for the announcements. We spend lots of time talking about the upcoming Visioning exercise and how very important it is that we have a large turnout of people of all ages. We need your input, to know how you see the future of Mt Royal. What things are important to you: Community outreach? Fellowship? Being welcoming to new people? Balanced budgets? How do you feel we should approach worship? Music? Do you appreciate the technology we make use of each week?

Communities of Faith all over are grappling with limited finances, declining memberships, ever reducing numbers of volunteers. What are your suggestions for how we remain relevant in our community while at the same time providing meaningful worship and programs?

So far, the numbers of participants appear low. Won’t you please join us for critical information gathering and the opportunity to share your views. Let Emily in the office know so we can plan for food.

This week is our Spring smiley faced pancake breakfast on Saturday. Hope to see you there. And if you like girl guide cookies, contact Jane at 506 863-9230.

Sunday the choir brings us a beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace (my chains are gone). Please be sure to join us, in person or online. You are invited and welcome to worship at Mt Royal in whatever way works for you.
