The Art Club meets Tuesdays from October to April at 1:00pm in the basement.Members work on individual pieces but also help and encourage each other in their endeavours.

Guest artists occasionally provide instruction.

Craft Group

Each Tuesday morning, all year round, this group meets in the Board Room from 9:00 A.M. to approximately 11:30 A.M. Currently about 12 people attend regularly but we would love to have more members. In the Fall, Christmas crafts will be on the agenda.

No special skills or materials are required - just a willingness to have fun.

Boys and Girls

Beavers 5-7 yrs meet Monday 6:30-7:30pm
Cubs 8-11 yrs meet Tuesday 6:30-8:00pm
Scouts 12-14 yrs Thursday 7-9pm (Rotary Lodge - Centennial Park)

Youth enjoy weekly meetings where activities are based on Scouts Canada’s new Canadian Path program. The program has four key elements: Youth-led, Plan-Do-Review, Adventure and SPICES. SPICES stands for Social, Physical, Intellectual, Character, Emotional and Spiritual which are the six dimensions of personal development for the program.

Lunch with Friends

Once a month, (the third Thursday) Mount Royal United Church offers a time of fellowship, food and a short program to the seniors in our congregation and the community as a whole. The cost is $5.00 per person. Sign-up sheets are always located at the back of the Sanctuary before an event. If you have a friend that you would like to bring with you, feel free to sign them up as well.

Mount Royal's Men's Group get together to work on various fundraising activities such as the Rummage Sales, Smelt Dinners, Roast Beef Dinners and brunches.

Pancake Breakfast

Mount Royal United is the home of the SMILEY FACE PANCAKE! Twice a year we hold a delicious pancake breakfast on a Saturday morning as a church fundraiser. Come to enjoy a meal or to help serve our famous pancakes with a smile!

Tai Chi

Mount Royal offers a variety of Tai-Chi classes open to anyone who is interested. All are welcome to join.

United Church Women

The UCW purpose is to unite women of the congregation and to provide a medium through which we may express our loyalty and devotion to Jesus Christ in Christian witness, study, fellowship and service. The members are divided into 3 units which have regular meetings along with General Meetings. Many events and services are provided such as: Annual Rummage Sales, Muffin Parties and the annual Advent Candlelight and Communion Service. As well, UCW supports Camp Ta-Wa-Si, Crossroads for Women, White Gift Sunday and the Moncton Hospital.

An invitation is extended to women of the congregation to join us in carrying out our mission here at Mount Royal. At Mount Royal you will get a Royal welcome.

The Mount Royal Unit meets the second Tuesday of each month @11:30 am.
